When We Fail: Peter's Denial and the Grace of Christ

What happens when a faithful follower of Jesus fails? In Luke 22:54–62, we see Peter deny Jesus three times, despite his confidence that he was ready to follow Him anywhere. Peter's failure reminds us of the danger of relying on our own strength while neglecting prayer and our daily dependence on Christ. But Peter's story doesn't end with his denial. Through repentance, forgiveness, and the restoring grace of Jesus, we see that failure doesn't have to be the end of our story. In this message, we consider our own weakness, the importance of repentance, and the faithfulness of Christ to sustain His people. Scripture: Luke 22:54–62

Does Your Family Get the Best Version of You?

Do other people get a better version of you than your wife and kids get? Recorded outdoors in Guatemala during the first Dad Tired Family Missions Trip, Jerrad sits down with a group of dads for an honest conversation about the gap between the fathers they hoped to be and the men their families experience. They talk about replaying parenting mistakes at bedtime, struggling with emotional consistency, watching their own anger show up in their children, and giving so much to others that their families get what’s left. Then Jerrad asks one final question: What kind of dad does your family get because you’ve encountered Jesus? There’s rain, laughter, vulnerability, and hope for every man who loves his family deeply and still knows he needs grace. Special thanks to Adventures in Missions for hosting our families in Guatemala.
