Community: Got Treasured N64 Memories? We'd Love To Hear Them
N64-mative stuff. 23rd June 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the N64, Nintendo's first console designed with full 3D in mind. Originally planned to be the Ultra 64, this console helped shape the burgeoning era of 3D gaming with classics like Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, and Wave Race 64 (the games were more imaginative than the names, promise) showing players and developers alike the potential of polygons, and how to design games in the third dimension. Circadia Game Review
Hisashi Hayashi is the designer of a quick new card game called Circadia. I was initially interested because Hayashi has done some great work for the Bell household, namely in the form of Yokohama and Railway Boom, the latter of which was on my list of the top 10 games of 2025. As you may know, lots of publishers are pushing out new card games, for the reasons one might expect: this is a much cheaper way to get a game to market, and it could satisfy the needs of many types of players in an environment where players are apparently spending less on their games. Enter Circadia. There’s a theme loosely tied to Dreaming Paths, Spirit Creatures, and becoming the “Keeper of the Eternal Cycle” for the person lucky enough to win the game. The reality is that Circadia is much, much simpler than even the loose framework. Setup only takes three steps. Players manage a hand of cards (never more than eight), trying to build up sets of cards across three types of Spirit Creatures: bear, axolotl, and

Latest Nintendo Direct Reportedly The Most-Watched Of The Summer Showcases
Sorry, Geoff. The big wave of Summer showcases is seemingly over, with Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all presenting their own bespoke 'Directs' and Geoff Keighley hosting the annual Summer Game Fest event in Los Angeles. It's been a pretty great showing across the board in our opinion, and we don't think any of the major showcases can be deemed 'bad' – disappointing perhaps, depending on your tastes, but there was a pretty huge range of titles revealed across the last few weeks. Lenovo's Troublesome G02 Emulation Handheld Is Back On Sale With A Slightly Different Name
Update: SUNYAO is an "invested by Lenovo" brand, apparently. A short while ago, eyebrows were raised when an $63 emulation handheld pre-loaded with ROMs appeared on AliExpress bearing Lenovo branding. The Hong Kong-based Lenovo is best known today as one of the world's largest personal computer vendors, so it came as something of a surprise to see such a cheap-looking device bear its name. UK Charts: FF7 Rebirth Falls Off A Cliff As FC 26 Returns To The Top Spot
Materi-aaaaargh. The latest UK Charts data is in folks, and it's actually a pretty uneventful week that sees no new titles in the top 40. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which debuted at number 2 last week, has fallen off a cliff this time around to land at number 30. It's not a surprise in the slightest, mind you – most people keen to pick up Rebirth on Switch 2 will have likely done so in the first week, and with 98% of the split still attributed to Switch 2, the fast drop-off is expected.
