Buried in the Settings app on iOS 27, Apple has hidden an easter egg that hails back from classic Mac OS; Clarus the Dogcow. Here’s how to trigger it … Very fun. Two days after being placed on a paid leave of absence, Matt Mullenweg says he has been reinstated as CEO of Automattic, according to a Slack message seen by TechCrunch. As 404 Media reported on Wednesday, Mullenweg had told staff in Slack that CFO Mark Davies "conspired" with the board of directors, who voted to "put me on a paid leave of absence." (Mullenweg said he voted against that.) He also told staff that the board had voted for Davies to become interim CEO. Davies, in a separate message, said that Mullenweg would still be a board member, according to 404 Media. 9to5 Mac has the iOS 27 release notes too. I haven’t spent much time using Golden Gate, but I’ve been using iOS 27 full-time ever since WWDC. It’s in excellent shape for a .0 release. Now I need to think about how long I want to still hang onto MacOS 15 Sequoia on my main Mac. I’ll probably skip 27.0 and wait for 27.1, but maybe I’ll bite the bullet and upgrade when a 27.0.1 update comes out.  ★

Two iOS 27 features need a little more time in testing and won't be shipping until a future update, even though they were present during the beta period. Suggestions in Messages conversations and the option to automatically fix compromised passwords with a tap will not be in the initial version of ‌iOS 27‌, and will instead launch in a later version of ‌iOS 27‌. on its iOS 27 page, as well as its iPadOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate pages as these are cross-platform features. Apple Intelligence and Safari to fix compromised passwords in the background without the user needing to do so manually In the Messages app, ‌Apple Intelligence‌ surfaces one-tap suggestions based on what's being discussed in a conversation. If someone you're talking to asks you to send a photo or complete a task, Messages recognizes the request and suggests action on the information with the relevant apps. iPhone Duo comes out on that date and ships with it pre-installed. We could potentially get the
