It is really hard to carry enough calories to keep up with the workload of hiking. After two weeks, our fitness watches are registering a 10 mile day as a baseline activity, compared to overreaching as it did at the start of the hike. In fact, the same effort is utilizing fewer calories and stressing the body less in just two weeks. Nonetheless, we are burning through 3000 to 5000 calories a day. Apple now says the iPhone 18 Pro has a C2 modem worldwide, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max uses the chip in every country except for the U.S. a tipster known as @itspdfu, who has been digging through Apple's software updates in recent weeks, iOS 27 code reveals that the iPhone 18 Pro Max is equipped with a Qualcomm modem instead of the C2 chip in the U.S. announced that it would supply Apple with smartphone modems through 2026, so perhaps Apple is equipping the U.S. version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max with a Qualcomm modem in order to honor this agreement in a minimum way. In May, hundreds of malicious and spam packages were uploaded to RubyGems, causing a serious disruption for the host. Now independent researchers have said that a swarm of OpenAI agents were responsible for the attack. Not only that, but the AI tried to steal users' API keys. At the time, RubyGems described it as a "major malicious attack" and shut down signups for four days as it tried to mitigate the damage and collect data.
